Westwood Adult programs

Unitarian adult programs are gatherings which help the participants build personal theology and explore the ways in which spiritual values may be applied to life.

Newcomers are always welcome to attend any of Westwood's events and programs. For further details, see the web version of the newsletter or contact Westwood for more information, dates and times.

Chalice Circles

Do you like tea and talk? If so, perhaps you'd like to join a Chalice Circle. They are opportunities to explore and share our thoughts, feelings and experiences on various topics, and to get to know fellow Westwoodians better.

Registration forms are on the Chalice Circle page and at the back of the sanctuary. For more information, please contact Carl via email.

Choir - Come Sing With Us!

Choir rehearsals are weekly on Tuesdays at 7:15 to 9 pm in the sanctuary (starting again in September). Newcomers are welcome. No audition, and we always have a lot of fun!

Harmonia is Westwood's choir. We sing during the regular Sunday services about once a month and for the annual Winter Solstice service.

Contact Rebecca, Westwood's Choir Director, if you have any questions.

Earth-Centred Spirituality Group

The Earth-Centred Spirituality Group celebrates the cycles of the year and facilitates activities for being inspired from nature.

If you are interested, please contact Jen via e-mail or phone the office (780-434-5819).

UU Guys

UU Guys, Westwood's men's group, offers men a non-judgemental place to talk about their lives. We share our recent revelations, joys, and challenges during the check-in. We then discuss a specific topic, focusing on our experiences and beliefs.

Past topics included love, fear, and spiritual journeys. We typically meet the first Sunday of the month. Newcomers are always welcome.

E-mail UU Guys for more info

Spinning the Web dinners

Spinning the Web dinners are small group potluck dinners in the homes of members and friends. After dinner we pursue a planned topic, offering personal experiences or reactions to the topic.

These dinners are about forming connections, meeting new people, and communicating in more depth than is possible at coffee. They are great for newcomers and seasoned members as well.

Watch here for an update on dates. There will be a sign up sheet on the bulletin board at the back of the sanctuary. The host of each group will contact its members with more details.

For more information contact our Spinning the Web organizers via e-mail.
