Topic:  Making a Difference: Annual Genocide Memorial Service

Rev. Audrey Brooks presents the 13th Genocide Memorial Service sponsored by the Unitarian Church of Edmonton, the Edmonton Interfaith Centre, and Westwood Unitarian Congregation. Each year, persons from many faiths and cultures come to share names and stories of people who died because of planned attacks against them, because of wars, greed, “ethnic cleansing,” slavery, gender bias, and colonial appropriation of Indigenous lands. Speakers include: Rev. Anne Barker, Rev. Fulgence Ndagijimana, and Rabbi Gila Caine.
