Words and Deeds which Inspire Us to Love

November is an exciting month in the Westwood Children’s and Youth Religious Education Programs! Our Sunday programming is going to be a fun, creative exploration of our monthly theme. We will be learning about voices and deeds of both historical and contemporary people that inspire us towards loving each other. There will be games, children’s meditations, and art projects!

Our Cosmic Connections Youth is also up and running, and we are excited about our upcoming weaving workshop on Thursday, Nov 7 at 7pm! We will be using recycled clothing to make rugs! This is a free event for any curious youth between the ages of 11 and 18! We are also looking forward to getting together with youth from The Green Room, a fantastic Islamic Youth Organization, and the Temple Beth Ora. Stay tuned for dates of these events! Our regular gathering times at Westwood will be the First and Third Thursdays of each month, so come on by to see what we’re up to!
