The Westwood Board of Trustees met mostly in person (with one Zoom-ing in) at Lorian’s on Monday, September 14.
Celebrations
- Many thanks to Margret and Daryl who opened their lovely home and gardens to Westwoodians for the annual August get-together and potluck.
- The front steps and building have been repainted and look so bright and clean. Thank you Mitch for arranging this. The new signage should be scheduled soon.
Help Needed
- Games Nights need someone to step in and help run this once-a-month event. Please contact a board member if you’re able to keep this event going.

- Westwood now has an Emergency Contacts List. If there is someone you’d like Westwoodians to call in the case of an emergency, you can sign up HERE, or look for the green form on the Sanctuary table
- The Canadian Unitarian Council, of which Westwood is a member congregation, is meeting virtually with UU communities across the country. The CUC Needs Assessment session for Westwood is on Monday, October 5, from 5 – 7 pm Edmonton time. Members of the board will be attending via Zoom. If you are interested in being part of this conversation, please contact a board member.
