Agents of Flourishing – Sunday Gathering
A compassionate community of free religious thought, inviting all people to rest, grow, and serve the world.

This hybrid gathering, from the Meaning Making Project, will incorporate a video talk.
How do we practice agency today, in our personal circumstances and as groups in society? What systemic factors make our agency possible (or limit it)? How do we accept our own agency and afford others theirs? How might agency and acceptance contribute to flourishing?
Rev Debra Faulk, Minister Emerita, now lives in an intentional community on Vancouver Island on the traditional land of the lək̓ʷəŋən People, known today as the Esquimalt and Songhees Nations. She is walking distance from two and a ferry ride from the other three grandchildren. She contributes as a volunteer serving on the CUC Board and as a coach for other UU Ministers. Debra continues to do consulting work and guest preaching. Other delights include the garden, cooking and wondering.

Westwood runs weekly gatherings, September through June, bringing a variety of speakers on a wide range of topics. Please check back for updates on this Sunday’s service.

There is an opportunity for ‘social time’ in person (with coffee) or online following the service – a time to connect with friends old and new.
