Read-In For Peace – Sunday Service

In the early 1970s, Allen Ginsberg organized “read-ins for peace.” As Presidents speak of creating a warrior class and Departments of War and of sending troops into their own cities, this seems like a good time to revive Ginsberg’s initiative, especially as we pause this week to recall all those who have died, both civilian victims and soldiers, in wars, past and present.
