Engaging Joyfully with the 8th Principle – Sunday Service
A compassionate community of free religious thought, inviting all people to rest, grow, and serve the world.

In the words of adrienne maree brown “we need to make justice the most pleasurable experience”. Join us today with guest speaker Camellia Jahanshahi, the Dismantling Barriers lead with the CUC, as she shares some of her personal philosophy around why joy is so pivotal for engaging in anti-racism and uncolonizing work. This reflection will explore the fundamental nature of joy and play as acts of resistance and as the things that help us to stay accountable and engaged in sustainable ways to the shared dream of collective liberation.
