Earth Blessings – Sunday Service
A compassionate community of free religious thought, inviting all people to rest, grow, and serve the world.

Earth Blessings
As Canadian UUs our interdependence calls us to love and justice; to make life better not just for people but for the planet as well. The earth gives us so many gifts – from soaring eagles to fresh water to life itself – how can we give back and help nature flourish even as the climate changes?
Fiona speaks to us by video in this year’s Meaning Making series, “Meeting this moment with love and justice.”
. . . .
Rev. Fiona Heath spent nine years as the settled minister at the Unitarian Congregation in Mississauga, and two years as the part time minister of the UU Congregation of Durham. Now slightly retired, she enjoys life in the countryside north of Kingston, focusing on fiction writing, local climate crisis response, and finding hope.

Westwood runs weekly services, September through June, bringing a variety of speakers on a wide range of topics. Please check back for updates on this Sunday’s service.

There is an opportunity for ‘social time’ in person (with coffee) or online following the service – a time to connect with friends old and new.
