Sunday Service – Loud and Proud – 60 Years with the Rainbow Crowd

Cassie will talk all about the huge changes that have occurred in attitudes towards the LGBTQ2+AI community over the last 60 years. It will include some chronology and some significant events, both positive and negative, together with some personal reflections on how much has changed and how much more work needs to be done on inclusivity.

An important part of the service will be dedicating the Westwood piano in memory of Marj Foth with appreciation for her role in developing the music program at Westwood.

This service will be followed by Second-Sunday Potluck!

Westwood runs weekly services, September through June, bringing a variety of speakers on a wide range of topics.  Please check back for updates on this Sunday’s service.

There is an opportunity for ‘social time’ in person (with coffee) or online following the service – a time to connect with friends old and new.
