Beloved Companions: Blessing of the Animals – Sunday Service
A compassionate community of free religious thought, inviting all people to rest, grow, and serve the world.
Our inclusive and welcoming congregation will come together to celebrate the special bond between humans and their beloved animal companions.
This event is a cherished tradition for many Unitarian Universalist congregations reflecting our commitment to embracing diversity and promoting compassion for all living beings.
The Pet Blessing Service is a unique opportunity for animal lovers to join in honoring and blessing the furry, feathered, and scaly members of their families.
Westwood runs weekly services, September through June, bringing a variety of speakers on a wide range of topics. Please check back for updates on this Sunday’s service.
There is an opportunity for ‘social time’ in person (with coffee) or online following the service – a time to connect with friends old and new.
