Topic: Choosing Hope: Roots of Resilience

In the bottom of Pandora’s box was Hope. It was what saved her and Prometheus from all the challenges life throws at us. Hope allows us to dream, to plan and to imagine a future we might never be part of.

The recorded sermon in this service comes from the “Meaning Making” series. We are one of 15 Canadian Unitarian Universalist congregations who are sharing resources to create an 8-part series on the Roots of Resilience.

About the speaker, Rev. Wayne Walder

Rev. Wayne (Wayne) is recently retired from the Neighbourhood congregation in Toronto. He helped start that congregation, and initiated many interesting programs. Rev. Wayne cleared the land to build a family home, and now lives there four months of the year with his wife Joan. They have three grown children and no pets.

Speaker: Rev. Wayne Walder
Service Leader: Lorian Kennedy
Musician: Carrie Day
Service Techs: Bill Lee, Hannah Dixon & Carl Ulrich
