Topic: Committing to Care Together
How do we practice being communities of care? How do we ensure that care is integrated into our ways of being together?
Ilara speaks to us by video in this year’s Meaning Making series, “Meeting this moment with love and justice.”
Ilara Stefaniuk-Gaudet (they/them) lives, works, and plays in Amiskwaciwâskahikan, colonially known as Edmonton, in Treaty 6 Territory and home to Region 4 of the Métis Nation. They are a lifelong artist and are currently in seminary at St. Stephen’s College as they follow their path to ministry. Ilara deeply values community living and intersectional advocacy. Their perspective is rooted in living with chronic illness and believing that dreams change the world.
